FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer after hours emergency services?
Yes! Our emergency services are available 24/7 including holidays. If we have any changes to our after hours availability, we will share it on our facebook & instagram @farmdocsspiritwood @farmdocs
Do you accept walk-ins?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept walk-ins. If you would like to make an appointment please give us a call during business hours (Monday-Friday 9-5) at (306) 883-2370. If you have an emergency please give the clinic a call ahead of time so we can prepare for your arrival.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
If your situation changes and you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice. There are times we have a long wait list and we want to give those who can make it an opportunity to book in.
Please note that multiple no-shows or late cancellations will result in the inability to book appointments at our clinic without a non-refundable deposit.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! We are happy to see and accept new patients. Please give our clinic a call to book your first appointment.
If I call first thing in the morning can I get in the same day?
As much as we would love to be able to accommodate everyone each day, our same day availability will vary based on the season and our schedule. Please give us a call to see, but do not expect a same-day appointment.
If your case is deemed an emergency, we will see you same day so please do not hesitate to call the clinic.
Do you offer small animal surgeries and appointments?
Yes! We are a mixed animal clinic and we will see all animals. If anything is outside of our scope the veterinarian will let you know and refer you to a specialist.
Can you send prescriptions to another clinic?
We serve a large radius and understand our clinic may not be the most accessible at all times for you to stop in. We are happy to forward prescriptions to another clinic, just please understand it may take up to 24 hours for your prescription to be sent.
What do I need to know when I book a Small Animal Surgery?
Our surgery drop-off time is between 8:30-9:00AM before we open. This helps ensure we have the time and waiting room space to go over the surgery consent forms with you and answer any questions you may have regarding your pets surgery. It is also important that they are fasted from food from midnight onward. They should not receive water the morning of their surgery.
